FARMRICH: PERFECT GAME DAY SNACKS

This post is sponsored by FarmRich.  All content and details are my opinion.

In my house we are all about gathering over the perfect go to spread of snacks on game day; as we cheer on our favorite teams.

Living in a house with boys,  it's a big deal to have the perfect snacks available at all times.  Between my husband and two boys I am constantly in the mood for an easier alternative on Game days, and FarmRich gives me plenty of options.  These easy go to frozen snacks are ready to serve only in minutes.

Some of our go to favorites are the original meatballs,  cheese sticks and the jalapeno peppers.  Our friends also love them!

A little bit more about our favorites!!  We love that the meatballs are gluten free and make for a healthier option.  I cook them in BBQ sauce in a sauce pan mixing the meatballs in to add a nice sweet and savory taste.  Once done I toss them on a bed of lettuce on a platter...  MY BOYS love them!

The Cheese sticks are always the first to leave the spread and we enjoy pairing them with marinara for dipping along with the Jalapeno Peppers which are my husbands favorite, paired with ranch.

My husband also like pairing this game day spread with a nice cold Dr. Pepper, which makes for the perfect combination.

She Inspires 2017 Fall Brunch (Details)

I am so excited to finally share a bit of the She Inspires fall brunch at The Grove in Round Rock TX.  While planning this brunch, I learned that God is always in the details,  as long as we let him orchestrate every step of the way.

The fall brunch was full of inspiration and was such a sweet time in God's presence with so many lovelies.

The ladies were greeted by the large letters "SHE"  as they walked on the grounds.  Then as they entered the venue they could shop, enjoy coffee, shop and mingle and make new friends.

These lovelies helped make this brunch so special, from the team pulling all the details together, to the speakers on our panels.  They were all such a blessing and helped make each woman that attended feel inspired.

These last couple of months have seriously blown me away, finishing up my first book has brought me a overwhelming joy and most days I still can't put it into words.   My heart is so full!  I have reminded myself over and over againthat this faith journey is not about me, it's about God.  When I can seriously take myself out of the equation, I can type into letting God do the supernatural in my life.

At the beginning of the month I had the She Prays book launch party at the fabulous Raven & Lily  at The Domain.  Thanks to everyone that came out to support me and that purchased a book!  It was such an amazing experience and I am feeling so blessed!

Thanks Raven and Lily for hosting and for the lovely Rachel of Pink Lace Designs for bringing this book  to life.  Also  thanks to my sweet friends for helping me pull everything together so quickly.  The fabulous LadyCakes Sweets & Treats made some yummy cupcakes and my lovely friend Crestal of Be Fierce Photography for captured the event.  It was such a sweet event!

Coffee & Words: Change In Seasons

Over the weekend, I sat and watched the leaves sway back in forth in the wind, as the air began to change, and the temperature dropped(quickly changing to a feeling of fall).  As the leaves sway from one side to the other, I couldn't help but notice the pattern remained the same, only maybe picking up speed, depending on the blowing wind.

When the season changes I am always reminded of my life;  growth, stillness,  and changes that come on this journey.  Sometimes going at full speed and other times slowing the pace, allowing for rest.

I'm also reminded of God's faithfulness to us in all the changes that come, and how he's never changing.  His unconditional love for us, his grace is constant and sufficient in all things, the joy he brings on a daily, that peace that surpasses all understanding.  It's so evident that even though the seasons are constantly changing, we are never alone, He is always there, even in those seasons that seem a little chaotic and emotional, or those seasons that feel like you are not enough or just aren't sure how things are going to work out.  He is there to give you direction.

So as your season changes and you don't feel like you have it all figured out( it's okay).  Stop and breathe in the fresh air, and let God's grace sustain you.

Coffee & Words: In The Waiting

FINAL-0063.jpg

Do you ever feel like your life is constantly going a 100 mph and you don't feel accomplished at that high speed, and find yourself wanting more.  NEVER CONTENT

I use to feel that way until a couple of years ago when I was reminded to stop and listen.  Listen for the rest that was needed, the quiet that was non existent, the rhythm of slow that I wasn't familiar with, the lack of self knowing that needed to be birthed within, that peace that was anxiously awaiting, the God that wanted me to seek him more.

We have to learn that there is a process in the waiting and patience is a virtue.  When God directs us and gives us discernment in our calling, we have to wait on HIS instructions.  In our waiting we have to pray, be present and rest in him daily.

The waiting process is not always easy, because the feeling of control and over thinking can cause doubt to creep in. We have to constantly be reminded that in the waiting comes God's instructions and guidance, when he leads the way, everything is orchestrated so perfectly and peacefully.

Trust the process, trust what God has placed in your heart, trust all that he promises you in his word, and wait on his timing.

Psalm 27:14

Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.
