My sister has offered to fold me 1000 origami cranes for my wedding. It's something she's always wanted to do, so I decided to take her up on it. I think the effect of the brightly-colored cranes made from pretty paper would look very elegant, but I've been having a hard time deciding what to do with them. Scatter them on the tables? Hang them from a tree? Create a cascading curtain?
I was browsing Etsy for ideas, and I found these lovely creations by roundhousedesigns. I found this mobile pictured above especially beautiful. This inspired me to create something similar, only on a much larger scale, and on a stand I won't have to hang on the ceiling. I am thinking of using them as the main focal point for the ceremony.
