Austin Interior Styling:: Small Apartment, Big Style

HAPPY FRIDAY!!

This 800sq. ft. apartment makeover, brings me JOY in so many ways. First of all this space belongs to the sister of the lovely Cheri Thompson; one of my sweet friends, colleagues and sister in Christ.  Her sister Cheryl just had her sweet baby girl last week!!

When Cheryl found out she was expecting, she really wanted a home to bring baby Keagan to, and thought that having a small apartment, just wasn't going to work out. Once we started gathering color details and picking out pieces, with budget and size at the top of the list, I knew we had to get this space just right for that beautiful baby girl to come home to!  Her space is truly an example of making a stylish statement in a small space, on a small budget and loving it.  We shopped, IKEA, Target Threshold( one of my favorites on a budget), along with Homegoods and Garden Ridge.  Right before the baby was due to arrive we went over for a spontenous photo shoot and the Christmas tree was perfectly set up with bright colors, ready for Baby Keagan to come home to!

Thanks Cheryl & Beep for letting me help bring your small space to life! Congrats on that beautiful baby girl! Such a blessing!

A small corner of the space doubles as Beeps office area, with a small desk and chair. Perfect for him to setup his laptop at anytime.

The Baby Nursery was so much fun!!! It all started with this large wall Map, that Cheryl fell in love with!  We still need to add a small gallery wall to the space.

Modern Home Tour Austin

The hubby and I had a date day on Saturday and explored Austin, touring 13 gorgeous homes for the Modern Home Tour. We were so exhausted afterwards, but it was so worth it. I could picture myself moving right into a few of the homes with no hesitation at all. Here's one of the homes that I really loved!

I fell in love with the kitchen in this home.. Along with purple accents throughout..

Room Love: Speaks To Me

There is something about this light & airy space of designer Samantha Sacks that speaks inspiration to me. The white walls, pops of color and texture through out are oh so perfect.  I can picture myself being inspired in this space on a daily..

Inspired by Lonny

As I browsed the new issue of  Lonny Magazine, I am inspired by all the patterns, lighting and colors throughout. I especially fell in love with these lovely spaces.

The grey and yellow chevron ottoman is oh so lovely.
I am inspired to create my  own.
