She Inspires Brunch at One Eleven East

I feel so humbled to have the opportunity to bring women together in all walks of life for a couple of hours over brunch, faith, and fellowship, to let go of our fears.  When God put She Inspires in my heart a few years ago in a dream, I had no clue what was going to happen. Today I can honestly say I am so grateful for that night when God brought the two words "She Inspires" in a dream, because what I didn't know at the time was that this faith journey would completely change my life and allow me to be a bigger vessel for him.

The scripture below from Song of Solomon 2:14 is what set the pace for the event. Thanks to Hillarie with Perceive It Pretty for all the beautiful boards and allowing God to use her with her words..

My heart is so happy!!! The She Inspires brunch on March 5th at the beautiful One Eleven East, was full of love, laughter, prayer, tears and a whole lot of God in three short hours.  It was simply sweet and I didn't want it to end. All the lovely sponsors, and the fabulous speakers truly were a blessing and I am so grateful for each of them.  They helped make this event special for all the ladies that attended.

Chef Mike with Amuse prepared yummy waffles and a breakfast taco bar with all the fixings. Oh, and did I mention there was a mimosa bar, yogurt bar and a coffee station provided by Gathered Together Roasters.

Our fabulous speakers Cheryl Luke, Kendra Stanton
Krystle Barrington were amazing; all three of these ladies are such an inspiration and I am so blessed to have crossed paths with each of them. Looking forward to seeing all the wonderful things God has in store.

At the end of the event we gathered in a circle for prayer and to discuss our fears and what's holding us back. This moment was one of my favorites, and I will never forget that feeling of togetherness. Forty women from all walks of life sharing a piece of their lives and not looking down on each other, but truly coming together and lifting each other up in that moment. I love it!!  I'm sure God was looking down and smiling big!
After we shared a little, we went out and let go of our fears with a balloon release.

She Stands Bold In Faith And Seeks Her Purpose!!

Thanks to the lovely Kendra of Lilac & Fig for the beautiful photos and paper details.

Coffee & Words:: Be All In

Have you ever started something and it got to be just a little bit challenging, and more then you felt like you could handle in that moment?  So you let doubt, and the fear of failure creep in and you decide to hang it on the shelf for a bit.  I'm sure we have all experienced that at some point in our life.

Do you feel that way about your relationship with God, and what he is calling you to do?

So, if God puts something in your heart to do and gives you all the tools and resources to make it  happen, why wouldn't you run with it. Why wouldn't you give it your all, even when times get rough and you feel like throwing your hands up and saying forget it. Being reminded in those moments,  that he paved the way from the very beginning.

God is not a God of confusion, chaos, nor is he a some timing God.  He is a faithful God, a God of order, a God of unconditional love, a God of good, a God of his promises.
He wants us to be all in for him and not wander in doubt and worry. He wants us to be all in with serving him, and being that light in dark places, he wants us to be all in for his kingdom and to not be burden by the things that don't bear good fruit.

So stop looking back, and let him guide you to that place of freedom and fruitfulness in him. Walk in faith, knowing he has your back and BE ALL IN with a cheerful heart!

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. -Colossians 3:17

Schoola Blogger Event

A couple of  days ago I had the opportunity to craft with Schoola at their blogger event at the new DIY Craft Studio here in Austin. What a fun evening! Schoola's March campaign kicked off last week and they are truly making a difference in schools all over the world through donations and shopping their consignment shop. Which is amazing!!!

We go to create some fun cards for the evening, using supplies from the Craft studio..
How fun is that!!!

More about Schoola:

Over 300,000 families nationwide have discovered Schoola’s unique solution that has been praised as an “amazing mash-up of community building, upcycling and commerce.”
  • Parents love it because they can donate gently used kids and women’s clothing by mail from home with free shipping, or participate in a school-wide clothing drive - either allows them to clean out their closet for the benefit of their school.
  • Kids love it because they can track their school’s fundraising progress on their school page, and it funds programs at schools that have seen severe budget cuts, such as art, music, field trips and P.E.

Go visit their site for me details about how you can get involved! www.schoola.com
