Hello Fall!
I love the fall season!! For me when the season changes, it's like a fresh new start. Changing things up in my wardrobe, setting new goals, adding new colors, de-cluttering and rearranging my home make for a new beginning.
One of my favorites this time of year is adding a little touch of fall around my home.. Not necessarily going over board with it, but just enough to bring the changing of the leaves and crisp air into my home with pumpkins, a little foliage off the trees, candles, even changing up the pillows, to just warming things up a little..
Here's a few snippets of the simple ways I add a little fall to my home..
Adding a little color to your front porch is always a great way to bring the season to your home. Grabbing a few Mums from Home Depot and paring them them simple orange pumpkins and a nice wreath. So simple and doesn't break the back.
Tossing pumpkins all around your home is another easy way to bring in pops of color and add a festive touch. I love getting my pumpkins from Trader Joes..
You can't go wrong with candles that have that crisp fall smell.. Th Harmony candles are some of my favorites and I love the name.. "Cozy Sweater"
Also, Coffee on any fall morning, brings out the warm and cozy feel..
Do you find yourself trying to make time to read the bible or your devotional and stay connected during the busy work week. Well here's a few Apps that keep us in the word while we are on the go during the busy week. Some days all it takes is 10 minutes of your time to get some fuel to take on the day. "The word of God is fuel to our soul. "
1. You Version Bible App- This App was one of the first bible apps that I put on my phone.. It always me to pull up the verse of the day right away. It's perfect for your daily uplifting.
2. She Reads Truth- Bible App that makes reading the bible organized, and it also connects women with a community of women that love reading the word.
3. First 5 App- This App will transform your time with God and all you to feel connected in a whole new way.
4. IF Gathering App- Once they released the IF App I knew I had to have it. Its a great tool for women to get rooted in the word with other women all over the world and feel at ease with studying the bible on a daily through daily words and encouragement. This App also has lovely photos!
Now go download one of these Apps and get plugged into the word..

With the hot summer heat here in Texas these last few months, we have been anticipating the cooler temps to roll in. Been waiting to pull out our plaids, sweaters and boots, not to mention mingling around the campfire with smores, and hot dogs, is one of our favorites. Especially if it involves lots of girl talk and coffee.
So we pulled out all our goodies from Wayfair and decided to welcome the cooler temps with a night by the campfire. What better way to bring in Fall, right?

A nice plaid blanket set the vibe for this cozy setup. Along with a couple of plush pillows and some coffee of course..This a nice way to escape for an evening, even it's in your backyard.
Smores are one of my favorite treats this time of year and setting out a nice tray with all the goodies makes it easy access for everyone to enjoy.
